I have been re-reading the Whitebox rules last night and this morning, and am reaffirmed in my choice -- they are awesome!

I also wonder why it took G+ to get the ConstantCon wave moving. The "free" factor must be part of it, even though Skype Premium is only $8.99 per month.Carter Soleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01286436801953647693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8038823840472916624.post-69148086375665468662011-08-16T00:45:09.411-04:002011-08-16T00:45:09.411-04:00I'm onboard if I can ever move into my new dig...I'm onboard if I can ever move into my new digs.

It has been interesting to see the excitement over Google+ when we've been doing the same thing by Skype for the last year. I suppose we were working from a group of face-to-face players that moved away, which is different than playing with people you've never met in person. Maybe it's the cost of Skype Premium (or whatever it's called) that kept people from doing this before? Are most people in the hobby so DIY that they don't want to pay anything to game? Hmm. The sudden enthusiasm for Google+ has brought cool things like Twiddla to light, which would have been really useful during last year's sessions, but I never heard of it until suddenly you could video-conference for free.

At any rate, when your S&W game starts I'll go get a new set of d6s and d20s soaked in goat blood and bat urine and break out the webcam.Spawn of Endrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10431848914619887998noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8038823840472916624.post-14228916236715369182011-08-15T19:28:52.029-04:002011-08-15T19:28:52.029-04:00@James: Noted, I'll keep you posted on the S&...@James: Noted, I'll keep you posted on the S&W White Box developments, I'd love to have you onboard!

@Theo: Thanks for the supportive comments here and on the prior post -- I too had a blast playing LL with you, and those dice are my favorite memento of the weekend. I will keep you in the loop as well, you're welcome at my game table (virtual or otherwise) anytime!Carter Soleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01286436801953647693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8038823840472916624.post-89326072298242755672011-08-15T13:06:40.973-04:002011-08-15T13:06:40.973-04:00I've also gotten quite excited over the potent...I've also gotten quite excited over the potential G+ offers , bringing us together. I had a great time in your LL session and would love an opportunity to game with you again. LL is quite "lite" for online, but I think the medium is meant for exploring or trying out new things, so if you've had an itch to try S&W, give it a go!
I'll follow your blog, and jump on board once things are underway.
Btw...nice dice! Lol. I'll get the green and gold ones next and bring them to next year's OSRcon to roll with you.Theohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15719958535312673509noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8038823840472916624.post-58819528906266431382011-08-15T11:59:31.740-04:002011-08-15T11:59:31.740-04:00I think S&W WB would be a great choice! I'...I think S&W WB would be a great choice! I've got to go and buy a webcam, as my wife is rather jealous of hers! But, I'd love to play in a google+ game you might run. Given your experience dming online, I'd like the opportunity to learn some things. :)Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08192212467523179768noreply@blogger.com
