Did you make that all up or is some of that from an outside source?

@Jovial: I do not know the Otyugh's background, but I will conduct an investigation and post the results to the blog.

@Clovis: Wow, THANKS. Not typically industrious or intelligent, orcs make their homes in caves, ruins and forsaken fortresses. Superstitious and excitable, they avoid the undead. Ungrateful and unsanitary, orcs lack empathy for their own kind and will often eat the corpses of their enemies (as well as their horses). While despised and hunted by both elves and dwarves; orcs form uneasy truces with mankind. The smarter members of this race can become competent warriors, priests or thieves.Clovis Cithoghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18208194219083373456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8038823840472916624.post-36075090576740117072010-12-21T15:31:23.394-05:002010-12-21T15:31:23.394-05:00Great post, I like top 10s.

Thi...The Ecology of the Otyugh is often misstated. This is clearly a case similar to the Orangutan that we know on earth. Only one dominant male Orangutan in an area will develop the distinctive semi-circular flared cheeks that mark him as the alpha-male. The neo-orangutan, as it were. When this orangutan passes away or is defeated, another male will assume his role and will in turn develop the characteristic cheek bulges.

When the neo-otyugh dies, a battle for supremacy (often fought with bluffs and intimidation as much as tentacle and bite) is waged among the lesser otyughs, and the one that emerges victorious soon develops the characteristic size and aggressiveness that comes with the mantle of... They were the one of the monsters that revealed the potential of the game when I first discovered it in junior high.Jaysonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03652611193354218021noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8038823840472916624.post-38201157868290556662010-12-20T10:43:03.204-05:002010-12-20T10:43:03.204-05:00I am with you on number 9 and number 8.
